Policy for Instructors

    1. For smooth functioning of classes, stipulated start and end time must be observed.
    2. All students should be advised to keep their cameras turned on all through the on-line class.
    3. Cameras of instructors must remain on throughout the on-line class.
    4. Language of instructions and communication with the students will strictly be English.
    5. Proper dress code must be followed by the instructors during the on-line classes.
    6. Maintaining decorum in the on-line class is the instructor’s responsibility.
    7. Lecture plan and number of evaluations (including quizzes, assignments, and tests) for complete course coverage must be prepared before the start of the session.
    8. Upon completion of each topic, at least one test must be given to students to evaluate their understanding of the topic. Actual topical questions that appeared in the exam will constitute the test.
    9. In addition to the tests after each topic, two more tests will be conducted;
      1. One almost halfway through the course, covering all topics taught till that time
      2. The other at the end of the complete course
    10. Evaluation must be turned in to the internal administrator within 48 hours after the test
    11. All information must be shared with students that helps them understand the examination system and prepare for achieving higher grades. The information may include, but not limited to,
    1. ‘Question types and the art of responding to questions’ i.e., what is expected of students to write in response to different types of questions
    2. Grade thresholds in the past
    3. Discussion with students about their weak performance areas and how to do better in exam
    4. The expected percentage each topic corresponds to in the final exams
    5. What is the best way to prepare for each paper
